Seven images of the book 'Het Formaat van Waterland' have been made into platinum-palladium prints. These prints measure 10.5" x 27.5" and thus are larger than the original 8x20" silver-gelatin contact prints. The platinum-palladium prints are made in an exclusive edition of 10 prints per image.
The portfolio
The numbers 1-5 of each of the 7 images are reserved for 5 portfolio sets that come in a handmade linen-covered box. Each portfolio also contains a slipcased, signed and numbered book and a letterpress text sheet that has the title of the portfolio, a short statement by the photographer, a list of titles and the number of the set.

Individual prints
The numbers 6-10 of each image are available individually. Each of these prints is signed, numbered in verso and overmatted.
Individual prints, numbers 6/10-10/10 are priced at $ 1800 per print.
About the making of these platinum-palladium prints
These prints have been made by a special method using triple negatives made from the original prints. The first negative has been fine-tuned for the shadows, the second one for the midtones, and the third one for the highlights. Finally, they are printed individually in a way that gives deeper and fuller tones to each of these areas. As a result, these platinum/palladium prints have that rich and glowing presence that can be seen in only the finest examples of prints made with this process.
